I have spent 40 years pursuing a good copper red. I have tested many formulas and Carlton Balls Chun is the best for starters. The glaze below started there and has been modified over and over. Kingman was the best feldpsar but is no longer available.

My Temmoku started from a glaze from the Harrow School of Art in England as their Cornwall 85, whiting 15 glaze. It will need different amounts of iron for stoneware and porcelain. Plus the Cornwall has changed so much that I had to drastically change the glaze, so testing will be necessary. Some spell this tenmoku, for some reason I like temmoku.
